These pieces were dyed during a public exhibition in Cognac in 2024. This limited series of 10 T-shirts carries the trace of that moment.
Each piece is individually dyed by hand in a living indigo vat. The movement of the fabric through the dye creates natural tonal patterns where deeper and lighter blues emerge.
Uneven tonal areas are intentional. Rather than forcing a uniform finish, these variations are preserved to reflect the living nature of the indigo process.

Dye Character
Each piece is dyed by hand in a living indigo vat.
The rhythm of the hands moving the fabric creates natural tonal patterns. Some areas develop deeper or lighter tones.
These variations are intentional and reflect the living nature of the dye process.

Dye Process
Individually dyed in a living indigo vat in Cognac using a natural reduction method.
The fabric is immersed repeatedly, allowing the colour to build slowly through oxidation.

Re-Dye Service
This piece can return to the atelier for re-dyeing over time.
If the colour softens with wear, the garment may be re-immersed in a future indigo vat. A small service fee and shipping costs apply.

Subtle variations in colour and texture are inherent to hand dyeing.

Refunds or replacements (when applicable) will be arranged once the item is returned in unused condition. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer unless the item is faulty.

Processing time Orders are usually prepared and dispatched within 3–5 working days. During busy periods or for limited editions, this may take a little longer.
Delivery Delivery times vary depending on destination and carrier. Tracking information is provided once your order has been dispatched.
Packaging I use eco-conscious packaging wherever possible, choosing recycled or minimal materials to reduce waste while keeping your piece protected during transit.

Re-Dye (Reset) Service — For Pieces Purchased Here
Natural indigo evolves with time and wear. When the colour softens, pieces purchased from this shop can be returned to the studio for a Re-Dye (Reset) service, so they can continue their life rather than be replaced.
How it works • This service is for pieces purchased from this shop • Each piece is assessed individually before re-dyeing • Pricing and availability depend on the condition of the fabric and desired depth of blue • A quote is confirmed before work begins
Scouring (when needed) Some pieces require a deep pre-wash before re-dyeing. • Scouring fee: €10–20 per piece (confirmed after assessment)

Response time This is a one-person studio. Replies may take a little time — thank you for your patience.
How I care
First use:
Soak overnight in lukewarm water, no soap. After soaking, rinse several times.
For the first washes, hand wash gently with mild natural soap. After that, machine wash on a delicate cycle (inside out).
Air dry in the shade. Do not tumble dry. Avoid direct sunlight.
Some colour transfer when new is normal. Natural indigo will soften and fade with time.
This piece can be returned to the studio for a Re-Dye (Reset) service when the colour softens.
