LOCAL COLOURS

Local colours emerge from the land where the work takes place.

Oak, vineyard leaves, and garance are not decorative materials, but structural elements of the Cognac landscape. Used seasonally and with restraint, they enter the practice as extensions of the same principles learned through indigo: patience, circularity, and accountability to place.

These colours entered the practice following research into fermentation, ageing, and material transformation during studies in spirits-making in Cognac.
